Marilyn Gutierrez is an associate at Stillman Smith Gadow, where her practice focuses exclusively on family law matters. She represents clients in a wide range of matters, including divorce, legal decision-making and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and post-decree modification and enforcement proceedings.
Ms. Gutierrez began her legal career as an Assistant Attorney General representing the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS). In that role, she gained significant litigation experience handling dependency, guardianship, adoption, and termination of parental rights matters. She later transitioned to private practice, where she has focused her practice on helping individuals and families navigate complex and often highly contentious family law disputes.
Ms. Gutierrez understands that family law matters can involve some of the most difficult and personal circumstances her clients will face. She is committed to providing practical, thoughtful advocacy while helping clients navigate the legal process with dignity and respect.
Ms. Gutierrez was born in Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and discovering new restaurants and cuisines.
